Not only does Tampa based Kamelot release one of the best studio albums this year, the band puts out one of the strongest live discs as well. This CD is a short version of the live set played while touring Europe with Crimson Glory. The songs “Expedition” and “Millennium” sound beyond this world, still they are not too different form the rest. Casey Grillo shows that he for sure is an elite drummer, and guitar player Thomas Youngblood and hired gun keyboarder Günter Werno communicates perfectly. Kahn shows how state of the art melodic and expressive singing can be tied together with supreme heavy metal, his voice gives Kamelot a unique dimension. Also, a huge compliment on the booklet.
