HAMMERFALL - Renegade

My colleague Håkon Grav owes the Swedes one point for each of the previous records, meaning; this record should have gotten seven points.Anyway, just like the two first records, “Renegade” has monster riffs and strong melodies. Still I am not able to say if this is the band’s best record or not, but when I want to emphasize a song or two, I find myself mentioning every song. Instead of trying to keep a good band down, as Hammerfall never gave something new to heavy metal, why don’t we all join forces and support a band that together with Stratovarius, is capable of bringing Heavy Metal back to radio, TV and sold-out arenas?

HAMMERFALL - Renegade

My Score:

If I were a 8 year old boy just noticing how nice it was to touch myself in certain areas of my body, this music would be just dreamy and creamy. I am not. But to be serious, the music isn''t that bad. Neither is Michael Jackson. But is it metal? There are pop bands out there who are harder, darker and better than this garbage. The vocals are the worst of course, my grandpa coughs cooler sounds than this homo sings.
