RAMPAGE - Veil Of Mourn CD/DVD 125,-
The original album from this Australian power trio was released in 1988 as a limited vinyl. AreaDeath Productions just re-released the album in a digibook format full of rare pictures, 7 unreleased tracks and bonus DVD. You got full discography from 80's cult thrash metal band - Rampage. First time on CD format. It has a raw production full of big drums, screechy guitars and a somewhat audible bass. This overall sound just adds a very honest attitude to the music. Imagine DARK ANGEL's "We Have Arrived". The vocals are similar to same era VENOM or SLAYER, including the high pitched screams, aggressive grunts and actual singing that is surprisingly good. The whole atmosphere is dark and twisted in a sense. It is Thrash Metal, with early WATCHTOWER and SACRILEGE BC influences.

SPECKMANN / MASTER - Project CD 90,-
One of the founding bands at the beginning of the Death Metal movement that cannot be ignored is Master. Formed in Chicago 1983, Master may not have had the commercial recognition as some of their counterparts but there is no denying that Master played a HUGE influential part in the formation of the Death Metal scene. The driving force behind Master is Paul Speckmann, who has been a key figure throughout the extreme metal movement. Maybe you dont know, but the Master debut album was recorded twice. The first version was recorded in Chicago with originals Schmidt, Mittelbrun and Speckmann and Markus Staiger, the boss of Nuclear Blast, didn't like the mix that Schmidt and Speckmann did. So, the band had to record it again, in Morrisound Studio Florida, Tampa, Produced by Scott Burns. It was a completely different recording with alternate song arrangements, and new bonus tracks as well due to the new line-up. Finally, the original recording from Chicago was released as Master's self-titled album by Nuclear Blast, and the 2nd recording released as Speckmann Project album by Nuclear Blast as well in 1992. Only old death metal fans bought and known about this great release - Speckmann Project! Now, ADP have made an official re-issue in deluxe edition.
