Full-lengder endelig ferdig! Releasedato er 7. Mai, og dette har Cruz Del Sur skrevet:

"Magister Templi is a Norwegian Heavy Metal band, characterized by a strong lyrical imprint inspired by Western mysticism, ritual magic and alchemy.
The band was founded in 2008 by singer Abraxas and Guitarist Baphomet, and released a digital demo (Lucifer/Restoration) in 2010. After finally recruiting a full set of five members in the fall of 2011, the band played some concerts in Norway supporting bands such as Pagan Altar (UK), as well as performing at the Inferno Festival 2012.
In June 2012, they self-released their first EP titled “Iao Sabao”, with a concept mainly centered on the ancient Greek Bornless Ritual and the alchemical picture series Splendor Solis; shortly after, they signed a contract with Cruz del Sur Music.
Due to their lyrical content, they have been often associated to the occult/doom metal movement, but “Lucifer Leviathan Logos” shows that Magister Templi is not a band that follows the actual retro-70s trend, but rather plays genuine, mainly NWOBHM-inspired heavy metal, embedded within the glorious practices of traditional doom metal. As even 1984-Mercyful Fate might be cited as another influence due to the numerous and sudden tempo-changes abundant in each and every song, no doubt that “Lucifer Leviathan Logos” is going to be one of most praised released of 2013!"

Har mottatt promo, men ikke fått hørt på den. Dere vet det ikke selv ennå, men det kommer et intervju i mai-utgaven av Scream.

Betyr det at du forfatter det selv?

Ser fram til denne, tror det fort kan være ei trivelig skive. EPn var fin - håper dere har tatt et skritt eller to til siden den ble spilt inn.

Kommer nok smaksprøve etterhvert, men får la Cruz bestemme den biten. Materialet ligger ikke HELT i samsvar med EP'n, men heller ikke milevis unna. Hele prosessen er også veldig mye mer forseggjort, i samarbeid med dyktige folk.

Skiva består forøvrig av 7 spor på til sammen 37 minutter.

Har trua selv, fått skikkelig sansen for 12" ep'n i det siste. Snakk om grasal forbedring fra demo til ep, håper utviklingen fortsetter.

Hehe, åpningsriffet høres veldig ut som Amerikansk 80talls kommersmetall av den hardere sorten. Noe ala tidlig Mötley Crüe, og den feelingen går igjen her og der nesten like mye som de mye omtalte NWOBHM-påvirkningene. Men bra var det. Tommel opp.
