Akercocke har en skyhøyt nivå på alle sine utgivelser, inkludert Words, så ingen fare der. Ikke at jeg egentlig aner noe om din musikksmak (har "plassert" deg i samme bås som affen, lyncho, aorguru etc), men ble likevel litt forbløffet av at du fremhever denne. Hadde dog blitt enda mer overrasket om det var Goat of Mendes det gjaldt. Bandets mest utilgjengelige skive.

Ikke blant Stolts aller beste verk, men allikevel en veldig undervurdert skive. Ikke akkurat Flower Kings-prog, men hvis man liker litt mer streit og bluesa rock så er det en trivelig plate. Men jeg tror den hadde blitt enda bedre hvis den var kutta ned til en cd. |

Only GOAT OF MENDES is real. Ikke for det, mye bra på Choronzon og Rape, men de siste blir for plastikk og uinnspirerte. Snøvla fram min mindre positive mening om utviklinga til gitaristen under Inferno ifjor, samt hvor hinsides håpløs han syntisten var. Han var enig, haha! Tror nok storhetstiden til det bandet er forbi. Gray bør finne inspirasjon, samt skry ordentlug lyd på trommene igjen. Blir for dumt vøtt.

Jeg er hjernevaska når det kommer til Akercocke, men jeg ser jo hva du mener. Til å begynne med var ikke jeg heller særlig imponert over Antichrist, men nå har jeg spilt den skiva sikkert 50 ganger så... men vi er enige om hvilken skive som er best.
De står med status "split up" på metal-archives, faktisk.
