Ok, eg prøver igjen, siden den forrige Kvelertak-tråden forsvant på mystisk vis.

KVELERTAK, eit djevelens orkester frå Stavanger-regionen er over oss. Eg har skrytt av dei mellom anna rundt By:larm og Øya, og no kjem eg drassande igjen med dette navnet. Dei har noko friskt og fett med seg. I trynet hardcore-pønkemetal, ispedd ein god del klassisk rock 'n roll. Det kan jo ikkje slå feil. Det kan drikkast og nikkast til, heilt utan anstrengelse.

Dei spelar på Øya no førstkommande fredag 14. august klokka 19.00. Du har og muligheten til å sjå dei på showcasen til Hole in the Sky på tysdagen på Garage. Og om du ikkje får dei med deg der, så kan eg garantere at du får muligheten i ei bygd nær deg om ikkje så alt for lenge. Bandet er både høgt og lågt. Og dei er eit sjukt bra live-band, merk mine ord.

For nokre dagar sidan la dei ut to nye låtar på MySpace-sida si, litt annerledes denne gongen, men framleis med eit driv utan sidestykkje. Sjekk ut opplegget:

Trenger du fleire argumenter så nemner eg Haggis-folk, grafikk av Justin Bartlett / Überkult, og gjesteopptreden av Nattefrost.

Det stemmer at Baizley har gjort artworken, ja. Kult cover og navn, musikken er jeg litt mer usikker på, mulig det er gøy live.

Sjekka et par låter i går. Noen partier virka kule, men black metal-elementene gikk ikke helt hjem her. Skal gi dem mer tid, og få sett dem live etter hvert.

Kjenner han ene gitaristen, Vidar, litt. Var en sentral figur i "metalscena" på Forus back in the day Razz
